The Horizon Hotel is located in the south end of Palm Springs, California (wind-free area). Built as a private residence in 1955 for a Disney movie executive who made the dog Lassie a star. It's showing it's age, but it show's Bill Cody's design genius, such as a bathroom shaped like a parallelogram. Was one of Marilyn Monroe's favorite hideaways. 22 cottages on lush lawns with palm and citrus trees. Cottages have a kitchen, fireplace, and patio. Outdoor heated pool, pool retreat, and Jacuzzi. The Horizon Hotel is located in central Palm Springs, close to Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium, Palm Springs Air Museum, and Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. Nearby points of interest also include Plaza Theatre and Palm Springs Convention Center.

Hotel Features.
Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a spa tub. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas. The hotel serves a complimentary continental breakfast. Guest parking is complimentary. Additional property amenities include a concierge desk and secure parking. This is a smoke-free property.
