Chateau Marmont is located in the hills just above Sunset Blvd. A Hollywood hideaway for the stars since 1929. Jim Morrison lived here and one drunken night on the roof was depicted in the movie "The Doors". The bungalows away from the main building are favored for privacy (John Belushi died in one in 1982).
