Melrose Mansion is located in New Orleans's French Quarter neighborhood, close to Saint Augustine Church, New Orleans Jazz Park, and French Market. Nearby points of interest also include Jackson Square and Bourbon Street.

Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast area. Wedding services, concierge services, tour/ticket assistance, and tour assistance are available.
