Hotel Description
The Hidden Oak Inn is a tastefully restored california craftsman bungalow built in 1914 by ralph e. Murphy. This large two-story house has a high gabled roof and a front porch which is framed with wisteria. The inn was originally a home for families and later a home for teachers and nurses during wwii. In the late 1940s the episcopal church which use to be next door purchased the home to use as a refectory. Then in 1984 the home was purchased by jaques and barbara gasser to establish the hidden oak bed and breakfast. A delicious full breakfast is served on the weekends and an expanded continental breakfast is served on weekdays both are served in the dining room or feel free to take a tray to your room. We are happy to accommodate your special dietary needs with advanced notice. The guestrooms are spacious and each is named for its lovely decor.
