the poolside bungalow is decorated with a four posted
queen-sized bed, chaise lounge chair, contemporary
paintings are from the estate of jack stallworth, who was
Mobiles mardi gras king felix in 1947 and whose nickname
was mr. Mardi gras. The room is brightly lighted by the
sunlight shining through the french-style door and window
facing the sub-tropical gardens and pool. One is able to
relax in the private bathroom under the shower, which has
a european nozzle and five jet sprays. French arte
deco room is located on the first floor in the 1900
addition with 12-foot ceilings and hardwood floors.
furnishings include a 1920 s arte deco queen-sized bed
with matching dressers. The private bathroom has the
original claw foot over ball bathtub with shower.
spanish bay room is located on the first floor in the
original part of the house, 1858 with 12 foot ceiling,
fireplace with antique blue tile with decorative white
mantel, and hardwood floor. Furnishings include a 1910s
arte deco queen-sized bed with matching armoire. The
private bathroom has a large original lions claw foot
over ball bathtub with shower. This room can be converted
into a private suite by its connecting door to music
room, which has a queen-sized pullout couch and 1880s
upright german-made piano for additional cost. Louis
xvi room is located upstairs in the 1895 addition with
hardwood floor, 10 foot ceiling, fireplace with
corinthian columns and beveled mirrored mantel. 1880s
french leather queen-sized sleigh bed. Shared bathroom
with original claw foot bathtub with shower. Cozy
blue room is on the second floor in original 1858 with
original hardwood floor. Economical and quiet room has a
twin bed. Shared bathroom across hallway lions claw foot
over ball bathtub with shower.
