norfolk/ va international airport. From the airport/take
route 64 east approximately 10 miles to route 168
south for 34 miles. Route 168 merges to route 158
south. Continue 44 miles through the villages of
kitty hawk/kill devil hills/and nags head.
take route 12 south for another 48 miles.
the cape pines hotel is approximately 1 mile into
the town
of Buxton/nc on hatteras island on the left/one
half mile south of the entrance to cape hatteras
lighthouse.

take 95s from washington/dc towards
richmond/va. Take 64e from richmond towards
virginia beach
and hampton roads. Take 168s from virginia beach which
turns into 158s. Follow 158s to kitty hawk on the
outer banks of nc.continue 158s through nags head.
take rt12s in nags head towards hatteras island
and ocrocoke island.Buxton is
approximately 48 miles south of nags head on rt 12s. The
cape pines is approximately 1 mile into the
town of Buxton
on the left/one half mile south of the entrance road
to cape hatteras lighthouse.
