PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn is a comfortable and casually elegant year-round destination offering exceptional service and ideal location. The Inn is ski-on/ski-off and adjacent to spectacular hiking trails and bike paths. Decorated in a whimsical Shakespearean motif, an homage to our namesake, PlumpJack offers 60 well-appointed guest rooms, boasting picturesque views of the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains. All guest rooms and suites have down bedding, flat screen TVs, DVD players, an in-room movie system, mini bars, plush robes and slippers, and complimentary wireless Internet. Our gourmet buffet breakfast featuring apple wood-smoked bacon, herb scrambled eggs, and house-made granola is included in all room rates and is served in the PlumpJack Bar every morning. All hotel guests also receive complimentary parking, access to our brand new fitness facility and outdoor hot tubs and pool. On-site, we also have a full service ski and snowboard, demo and rental shop. Ski and Snowboard storage is provided free of charge. There are absolutely no hidden resort fees. PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn also boasts a branch of the three and a half star restaurant, PlumpJack Cafe. Chef de Cuisine Andrew Unzicker oversees the locally grown and seasonally inspired Modern American menu. PlumpJack Cafe has been awarded the Best of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine in 2006, 2007, and 2008, and is widely regarded as a premier dining destination in Lake Tahoe. From RNO 48SW 1. Start out going WEST on E PLUMB LN toward TERMINAL WAY. 2. Turn RIGHT onto DURHAM RD. 3. Merge onto US-395 N. 4. Take EXIT 68 toward I-80/SACRAMENTO/ELKO. 5. Merge onto I-80 W via the exit on the LEFT toward RENO/SACRAMENTO Crossing into CALIFORNIA. 6. Take the CA-89 S exit, EXIT 185, toward LAKE TAHOE. 7. Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto CA-89 S. Pass through 1 roundabout. 8. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT to stay on CA-89 S. 9. Turn RIGHT onto SQUAW VALLEY RD. 10. End at 1920 Squaw Valley Rd.
