We stayed at Imperial Palace for two nights and had a nice room, comfortable beds, could open the balcony door to check the weather, clean, attractive enough. Wonderful location and great room rates. Would stay there again. Did not eat there. Pool was nothing fancy but we didn't swim in October anyway.

We have stayed at the Imperial Palace a few times before and had no problems. But our recent trip was not a good experience. We were put into one of the cheap rooms that was pounded by music vibrations from Harrah's until 3:00 am. We requested to be moved and our set of keys for the new room didn't work. Went to the desk to get new keys and then those did not work. Went back to the desk again and was told our keys were fine, it must be the lock on the door. The desk called maintenance up to look at our lock. We went back up and the maintenance guy opened our door with his key, our keys had been programmed wrong again. Luckly the guy could program them with his key so we didn't have to go to the desk. The shower only had two settings, scalding hot or icy cold. The t.v. reception was messed up but we decided to mess with the cables ourselves because we didn't want to have to wait in our room until a maintenance guy could get up there. The worst part of our trip was valet parking. We came to get our car to tour the end of the strip and somehow in between the parking garage and the pick up area the valet snapped our transmission cable with his fancy driving and our alarm had been disconnected. We should have mark the mileage down to make sure the car wasn't taken out for a spin but we didn't. The security guards there are some of the nicest guys and we really appreciated having them to yell at when things went wrong. And if you ever need your car fixed in Vegas call the Car Doctor and ask for Kenny Carter, he was reasonable, fair and a heck of a nice guy! P.S. The big blonde woman at the information desk needs a personality change.

Despite some rather nasty reviews I had read on sites like this one, I booked a week at the I.P. and was very pleasantly surprised. I found the staff VERY helpful and friendly, the room newly refurbished, clean, and neat, and the casino about "par for the course". I don't know what the other reviewers were looking for, but I was quite satisfied, impressed by the location, and will certainly return there.

We love your hotel and the people in your employ. We visit Vegas a lot and while we are home, on the East Coast, we always find it a delight to go to your 4 web cams, It's just like being there.
What happened? For the past several days we cannot access the Web Cams. We hope you have not removed them or shut them down. I also wish that they will be back on line soon.
Please let us know when we can expect to watch the strip again and also the casino and the entrance.
Thanks for your help.

I recently went to the I.P. for a week from 1-4 to 1-12 and like everyone else I was a little nervous about what I would find. To my surprise I was very pleased with almost everything. When I first arrived my room was not ready which I believe was no fault of theirs because I arrived at the hotel at noon and my check in time was 3:00. No problem. They took my luggage and stored it and I went to the slots and won 200 bucks!! My room was clean and I did request a room overlooking the pool as I did not want to be kept up with all the noise from surrounding casinos. The elevators were a bit slow but not to bad. Everyone treated me very well and were quite considerate with any questions I had. I thought the food was real good. I went to the Embers and had lamb chops and they were delicious. Betty's diner wasn't bad either for just something quick to snack on. Don't go to the hamburger place though. Pretty bad. My only big problem was.......the showers. They were terrible. One minute ice cold and the next scalding hot. It seemed it was either one or the other. I would definately stay there again. Can't beat the price.
